This course covers two lessons. In the first lesson, we’re going to talk about what Product Marketing means and explain the difference between Product Marketers and Product Managers, and why Product Marketers are so important, when a Product Marketer should be hired, and the different types of Product Marketers that exist for every investment stage.
Then in the next lesson, we’re going to Build a Plan and talk about setting expectations, so you’ll know why you’re building the product that you’re building and what success looks like. I highly recommend that founders, or teams planning to hire a product marketer review these two core lessons before diving into the work of building a go to market plan and launching your product.
